The Capitol Civic Centre, named the "Jewel of the Lakeshore," draws over 70,000 patrons every year to its live stage productions by traveling artists and local performing groups. Renovated in 1920's vaudeville movie house style, the historic theatre is home to the Manitowoc Symphony and The Masquers, Wisconsin's oldest operating theatre company. The theatre is located within walking distance of Washington Park.
